Amplitude is half the distance between the minimum and maximum values of the range of a periodic function with a bounded range and Periodic is a function that repeats itself after a specific period of time .

  2. amplitude deals with the distance between 2 values periodic f(x)thats repeats itsself

  3. Amplitude is the objective measurement of the degree of change (positive or negative) in the compression and rarefaction of air molecule caused by sound waves and Periodic is a function that repeats itself after a specific period of time .

  4. Periodic is a function that is marked by repeating cycles (such as time). Amplitude is a measurement of its change over a single period.Amplitudes can either be postive or negative.

A function that repeats itself after a specific period of time is called a Periodic Function.Amplitude is half the distance between the minimum and maximum values of the range of a periodic function with a bounded range.

  6. A Periodic Function is a function appearing or occurring at specific intervals and Amplitude is half the height of the wave and also the absolute value of wave

  7. Amplitude is the maximum distance or value of a varying quantity from its mean or base value, or half the maximum peak-to-peak value of a periodic function such as a simple harmonic motion. Periodic is a function that repeats the same value at regular intervals of the variable.

  8. Amplitude is the maximum distance of a quantity, usually vertically displayed, yet it is half the height of the wave and can be either positive or negative.

Periodic is a repeating function at the same value at specific intervals.

  10. A periodic is a function that repeats its values in regular intervals or periods. A amplitude is the maximum distance of a quantity from its mean or half the wave of the function from point to point.

  11. There is a difference between Amplitude & periodic. Periodic is a repeated function and after a certain period of time, while Amplitude is half the distance between the minimum and maximum (value range) of a periodic function

  12. A periodic function is a f(x) that has repeated values over a period of time. The amplitude is half the distance between the max. and min. values of the range in a periodic function(only if the range is bounded of the periodic function will there be an amplitude).

  13. The difference between an amplitude and a periodic function,is that, amplitude is half the height of a wave and a periodic function is a function that repeats the same value at regular intervals from left to right.

  14. Periodic functions repeat over and over, or cycle on a specific period. However, the Amplitude of a function is half the distance between the minimum and maximum values of the range, of a periodic function. The two affect music extremely, as a prime example. The amplitude and period of a function represent the height and cycle length of a curve. Amplitude indicates the energy of a sound and the period determines its pitch.

  16. The difference between an amplitude and a periodic function, amplitude is the maximum distance or value of a varying quantity from its mean or base value and is the maximum distance of a quantity. A periodic function is a function that repeats itself or a function appearing or occurring at specific intervals. Tanou Diallo

  17. The difference between periodic and amplitude:
Periodic is the length it takes for a funtion to repeat itself. The amplitude is half the height of the wave from the max to the min.

  19. The difference between Periodic and Amplitude. Amplitude is the maximum value of a periodic curve measured along its vertical axes. It also is the angle made with the positive horizontal axis by the vector representation of a complex number. Periodic is having a graph repeat itself. Its basically a function that repeats its values in intervals or periods.
