The sin cosine and tangent functions can all be applied to real life situations. The 3 functions can be used to calculate the distance a ship is from the dock or lighthouse. They can also be used to calculate the distance an object on the ground is from the height of a building.

  2. The sine, cosine, and tangent functions apply mainly to geometry and the study of shapes. In turn, these functions can be used for construction and even observation. For instance, these functions can be used in finding or describing distance of objects from one another. In the aspect of the school, the architects would use these functions to determine the dimensions of the new freshman academy building thats being built. They would look at how tall the portion is, how far out it stretches, how long it is, etc.

  3. Sine, cosine, and tangent functions are used for many real life applications. I know for sure that pilots use the trig. functions to find a efficient navigational route for long trips if GPS or other radar equipment is unavailable. They can also use landmarks if the trip is not very long (even over water).

  4. Sine, cosine, and tangent functions are used and can be used on a everyday basis. These functions mostly relate to science and mechanical fields. Geologists and engineers use these functions for mathematical models to perform calculations on rock formations. Not only in those fields, but construction workers apply ratios using the tangent function. Even in the simplest thing, such as surveyors, also use these functione. So as you can see trig functions are widely used among many real world lifestyles.

  5. The trig functions sin, cos, and tangent can be used in th real world. They can help to find the height of a building.Im positive construction workers use these fuctions every day while they are building.

Well in the world there are many situations and reasons we use the trig functions in real life. For examples, it is important in electrical engineering, vibration analysis, acoustics, optics, signal and data compression, among other fields. But mostly when we are building new things we use them to measure the height and width. We don't know it but we use these things every day.

  7. when it comes to real world situations i know that captains use these trig functions when calculating distance or the degrees between the ship and what lyes ahead of the ship. Also the military uses trig functions all the time when going for battle, or even camping through the woods.

architecture in that line of work you always dealing with trigonometric functions to build buildings an determined the sizes or changes needed to make a drawing become reality

  9. There are many ways sine, cosine, and tangent relate to real life situations. For instance trying to find the measurement of an object. Not only does it find the sizes, but also contribute to the work of reconstruction. The trig functions are commonly used on a day to day basis. In the field of science trig functions are used repetitively.

  10. when planning a building say there may be angles that aren't 90 degrees, the roof top say if you want to calculate forces along the roof's beams, sin, cos and tan become very useful.

  11. One real world application is when you are trying to measure the angles of buildings or distance to a building. This will require you to make some calculations about the different angles there are involved. So you will be required to use some calculus.
